Hebden Bridge A

The A walk was led by Les Thomson and covered 11 miles.

Leaving town the walk leads to Stoodley Pike, a famous landmark on the Pennine Way, which we follow for a while. The Calderdale Way takes us to Wither Clough reservoir then via field paths, lanes, farm tracks and  wet muddy path over Erringden Moor to arrive back at Hebden Bridge.

Even in a drought there is mud and puddles up here.

It was so foggy we literally bumped into Stoodley Pike ‘cos we couldn’t see it coming! But it was a good walk.
