Audrey Hibbert has sent me this report of the mid-week walk that she led at Bollington.

We started the walk from Adlington Road car park in Bollington. We walked a short distance on the Macclesfield Canal and then, after following tracks we ascended Kerride Hill to White Nancy (Photos 001 and 002)

We walked along the ridge and  descended   to Rainbow in time for lunch. After lunch we took field paths to the Macclesfield – Whalley Bridge then descended on paths to Harrop Fold. We walked along the harrop valley (photos 003 and 004) to the outskirts of Bollington. Tea was at the Clarence Mill tea room.

We had a super day.perfect weather, lovely views and very good tea and cake afterwards. Ten members came as a number of our regulars were on holiday.
