The “Singing Ringing Tree”

The Midweek walk on 13th May, led by Virginia McCombe was highly successful and took place in reasonable weather, albeit rather cold. The "Singing Ringing tree" sand and rang for us and everyone was very impressed with it. There were 16 of us altogether and although rain threatened towards the end, we managed to stay dry. we all repaired to the Old Stables Cafe back at Towneley Hall at the end of the walk for a welcome pot of teaq and a "cakey-bun"

Here we all are by the Singing Ringing tree. If anyone who missed the walk and wants to hear what they missed, go to www.visitlancashire.com and click on The Singing Ringing Tree for a 3 min video with sound
