I have received the following comments regarding the Eyam walk.
I think it should be noted and comment made that Barbara, our leader, is demonstrating practices contrary to Health & Safety by standing in an unsafe manner on ledge or promentary that is unprotected with regard to precipitation in an unsafe way onto the ground below, which has not been made safe from impact i.e. by Spongiform Mattresses and Containment railings. If she had been in a wheelchair she would have been at serious risk in the event of brake failure, or the onset of dizzyness if she had been monoplegic and afflicted by Old Trout’s disease. CHA should be made aware of its role in the community to promote role models, and in view of its clear breach of responsibility will be subject to Social Audit of its behaviour and pratices every 2nd and 4th Sunday from March 7th.
